Industrial Water Softeners - This customer specification required minimal chloride discharge to local utility with 80% reduction of alkalinity to final process. Solution was a weak acid hydrogen cation system with decarbonator. Regeneration is stoichiometric and uses only one third of the hydrochloric acid of a typical demineralizer.
